Terms of Agreement

By purchasing a ticket and/or registering for Slay the Spray ("the Event"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions. These terms govern your event registration, participation, access to event materials, and any included digital or physical products.

Event Purpose & Experience

Slay the Spray is a live educational event presented by X-Tan Sunless for spray tan artists and beauty professionals of all experience levels.

Depending on your ticket tier, your experience may include:

In-person event access
Educational sessions and workshops
Networking opportunities
Vendor experiences
Virtual live experience
Event recordings
Online course access
Swag bag
Other event bonuses

While we strive to provide exceptional education and an outstanding event experience, individual results will vary based on personal effort, implementation, and business circumstances.

Disclaimer

Attendance at Slay the Spray does not guarantee financial success, business growth, income, or specific business results.

Any examples of income, business growth, testimonials, or success stories shared during the event represent individual experiences and should not be interpreted as guarantees.

Attendees are solely responsible for implementing the strategies taught, operating their businesses, and complying with all applicable laws, licensing requirements, insurance requirements, permits, and local regulations.

Event Access

Ticket inclusions vary depending on the ticket purchased and are outlined at the time of registration.

Slay the Spray reserves the right to modify the event schedule, speakers, venue, event format, session topics, or other event details if necessary. Such changes do not constitute grounds for a refund.

Payment & Refund Policy

Non-Refundable Tickets

All Slay the Spray tickets are non-refundable unless the Refundable Ticket Add-On was purchased during checkout.

The Refundable Ticket Add-On cannot be added after your original ticket purchase.

Refundable Ticket Add-On

If you purchased the Refundable Ticket Add-On, you may request a refund of your original ticket price, minus applicable transaction and processing fees, provided your cancellation request is received 21 days or more before the event start date.

Refund requests received fewer than 21 days before the event are not eligible for a refund.

Ticket Transfers

Whether or not you purchased the Refundable Ticket Add-On, your ticket may be transferred to another individual up to 14 days before the event start date.

All transfer requests must be submitted to [email protected] before the transfer deadline.

Transfer requests received after the deadline cannot be accommodated.

If You Cancel Your Ticket

If your ticket is refunded, you will lose access to all benefits included with your original ticket package, including:

In-person event admission
Swag bag
Virtual live experience
Event recordings
Event bonuses
Any other event-exclusive benefits

If available, the Virtual Live Experience and Event Recordings may be purchased separately up to one month before the event.

Course Access & Refund Adjustments

Some ticket tiers include access to one or more online courses.

If your ticket includes course access, your refund amount will depend on how much of the included course content has been accessed before your refund request.

Refund Structure

0–9% of any included course accessed

Refund equals 100% of the original ticket price, minus applicable transaction and processing fees.
Course access will be revoked once the refund has been processed.

10% or more of any included course accessed

Refund equals 70% of the original ticket price.
A 30% course value deduction will apply, in addition to applicable transaction and processing fees.
You will retain lifetime access to any course(s) that have been accessed.

This policy applies whether your ticket includes one course or multiple courses.

Important Refund Notes

The Refundable Ticket Add-On fee is non-refundable under all circumstances.
If you did not purchase the Refundable Ticket Add-On, your ticket is non-refundable.
Non-refundable tickets may still be transferred to another individual up to 14 days before the event.
All refunds are subject to applicable transaction and/or processing fee deductions.

Intellectual Property

All presentations, recordings, educational materials, workbooks, digital downloads, graphics, videos, branding, trademarks, and other event content are the exclusive intellectual property of X-Tan Sunless.

No attendee may copy, reproduce, distribute, record, publish, upload, share, sell, or otherwise use any event content without prior written permission from X-Tan Sunless.

Recording & Photography

The Event may be photographed, livestreamed, filmed, or recorded for educational and promotional purposes.

Attendees may not record presentations, workshops, speaker sessions, livestreams, or other educational content without prior written permission.

Unauthorized recording or distribution may result in removal from the Event without refund.

Media Release

By attending Slay the Spray, you grant X-Tan Sunless, Slay the Spray, and their affiliates, partners, and authorized representatives the irrevocable right to photograph, film, record, and use your name, image, likeness, voice, and appearance in any media now known or later developed.

These materials may be used for marketing, advertising, social media, websites, educational materials, and future promotional purposes without additional notice, approval, or compensation.

If you prefer not to appear in photographs or videos, please notify the event team before the event. While reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate your request, we cannot guarantee that you will not appear in crowd or incidental event footage.

Health & Safety

By attending Slay the Spray, you acknowledge that participation in an in-person event involves certain inherent risks.

You agree to:

Follow all venue rules, policies, and instructions.
Comply with all applicable health, safety, and security requirements.
Conduct yourself in a respectful and responsible manner.

If you are feeling unwell or believe your attendance may pose a risk to others, we encourage you to contact the event team before attending.

Slay the Spray and X-Tan Sunless reserve the right to refuse admission or remove any attendee whose behavior poses a safety risk or significantly disrupts the event. Removal under these circumstances does not entitle the attendee to a refund.

You voluntarily assume all risks associated with attending the Event and release Slay the Spray, X-Tan Sunless, its owners, employees, contractors, volunteers, speakers, sponsors, affiliates, and representatives from any claims arising from your participation, except where prohibited by applicable law.

Code of Conduct

All attendees are expected to participate respectfully and professionally.

Harassment, discrimination, abusive behavior, threatening conduct, or disruption toward attendees, speakers, sponsors, vendors, volunteers, staff, or venue personnel will not be tolerated.

Slay the Spray reserves the right to remove any attendee without refund for behavior deemed inappropriate or disruptive.

Force Majeure

Slay the Spray and X-Tan Sunless shall not be held liable for any delay, modification, postponement, relocation, or cancellation of the Event due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. These circumstances may include, but are not limited to:

Natural disasters or severe weather
Acts of God
Fire, flood, or other emergencies
Government actions or regulations
Public health emergencies or pandemics
Labor disputes or strikes
Venue closures or unavailability
Utility or technology failures
Travel disruptions
Acts of terrorism, civil unrest, or other unforeseen events

If the Event must be postponed or rescheduled due to a Force Majeure event, your ticket will automatically be transferred to the new event date whenever reasonably possible.

If the Event is canceled and cannot be rescheduled, Slay the Spray and X-Tan Sunless will determine, at their sole discretion and as permitted by applicable law, whether attendees will receive a refund, event credit, or another reasonable alternative. Any approved refunds remain subject to applicable transaction and processing fee deductions.

Slay the Spray and X-Tan Sunless shall not be responsible for any additional expenses incurred by attendees, including but not limited to airfare, hotel accommodations, transportation, meals, lost wages, or other travel-related costs.

Dispute Resolution

If you have any concerns regarding your registration or purchase, please contact [email protected] before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback.

By purchasing a ticket, you agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve disputes directly with Slay the Spray and X-Tan Sunless before pursuing legal remedies.

Limitation of Liability

Participation in Slay the Spray is voluntary and at your own risk.

X-Tan Sunless, Slay the Spray, its owners, employees, contractors, volunteers, speakers, sponsors, affiliates, partners, and representatives shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from attendance, travel, participation, or reliance upon event information.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the original event ticket.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California.

Privacy

Information collected during registration is used solely for:

Event registration and ticket management
Event communications
Customer support
Event logistics
Delivery of purchased products and services

We do not sell your personal information. Information may be shared only with trusted third-party service providers as necessary to operate the Event and deliver purchased services.

Agreement

By purchasing a ticket for Slay the Spray, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
